Package design is one of the most interactive parts of the design world. Everything we touch, buy, store, and live with contains design that got it there in the first place. We choose to pick things that are part of our everyday lives but there is also a system that encourages how we pick and choose things. Package design is important for a brand because it acts as the first point of visual and emotional contact, instantly communicating the brand’s identity, values, and quality. It also differentiates the product in a crowded market, helping customers recognize, trust, and ultimately choose it.
I've designed packages for entirely new products in addition to redesigning packaging for products that weren't seeing good numbers. This includes creating the dielines, the manufacturing process, the material research, and the design itself.
