CHANGE Typography Series
What is change? Is it situational? Is it what we define it to be? Change is a crucial element in the world of typography. We wanted to use type to describe the definition of change. This was a poster series created by a group of creatives, each with different words to define using experimental typography. We then composed the posters from the designers to make an accordion fold booklet that encapsulates the definition of change simply through type. These posters consist of different interpretations of these words and how they connect to change.
After completing the series, I decided to prepare some wood cuts to give life and texture to the vectorized type as image we created. This series then included, 16 different posters, 1 accordion fold book, and 2 large wood cuts. The definition of change also changes, so the works needed to reinvent themselves as well.
